Artist Bob Ross once said “We don’t have mistakes here, we just have happy accidents.” Above was one of my happy accidents. This leaf above was part of larger piece I was forging. While trying to add twists to a stem the metal turned too cold and this part snapped off. I was angry at first. But then I stepped back and admired what I had made. I’ll keep this piece as a reminder that sometimes we make “happy accidents.” – Matt Kendrick
